To help combat overexposure to blue light, all SHAUNS eyeglasses will now come fitted with premium blue light blocking lenses as standard.*

Exposure to natural blue light during daytime hours is needed for good health and to regulate circadian rhythm - the body's natural wakefulness and sleep cycle.

However, there is concern around overexposure to blue light from digital devices. Because of the proximity of the screens and length of time spent looking at them (particularly at night) this can disrupt sleep cycles, increase eye strain, create headaches, and cause general fatigue.
